Yensua by Stan Philips

Stan Philips Yensua

A gospel pastor from Sierra Leone, Stanley Philips. His involvement in the gospel music community spans more than fifteen years. He made his first missionary journey directly to Liberia during the civil war in 1994, which marked the beginning of his ministry for God. He worked with the GRN (Gospel Recordings Network, Los Angeles) for seven years in a number of African nations, including the Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Guinea, Benin, Mali, Senegal, Nigeria, and Cameroon.

He developed and presented the program “The Evangelism Broadcast” from 1996 to 1998 while working as a journalist and editor at the ELWA Radio station, which was the first Christian radio station in Africa. The Hope Tabernacle Mass Choir, the Redeemed Church of God praise & worship team, and other choirs were under his direction and instruction during this time.

When he joined the Christians In Action church choir in 1992, which was led at the time by Daniel Sesay (Agape), he began singing gospel music. After that, he joined the New Life Mission Choir Sierra Leone Charter, a 150-voice mass choir, with Timothy Thomas serving as its director.

He relocated to France in 2001, where he became a singer and composer with the Mass Choir Si Tuenda. He penned the song “They That Wait” for the release of the first album in 2002, and the second album, issued in 2005, in which he participated as a soloist and a guitarist. He recorded two albums with this group, “We Shall Go” and “You Are So Good” in 2002 and 2005.

He co-founded the Eden ministry and the Eden Gospel in 2008, and he later rose to the position of president of both organizations. In that same year, he also published the album “Montre-Moi Ta Voie,” which translates to “Show me the way.” The record was a huge hit among the Ch’ti people in the north of France.

As a music minister, songwriter, and instructor, Stanley made the decision to pursue a solo career in February 2011. He published his debut album, “One More Chance,” which is separated between musical inspirations from Europe and Africa. The majority of the songs on this album, which were written while he was on numerous excursions, represent specific moments in his relationship with God and demonstrate his never-ending search for spiritual closeness.

Finally, this captivating and popular song possesses qualities that are likely to evoke a strong sense of exhilaration and enjoyment.
